Jason
Sealey
Practice Administrator

As Practice Administrator, Jason oversees the operations,
marketing, and financial management of the practice, as well
as focus on the development and well-being of our patients,
employees and our office. He attended college in Seattle,
and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and
Psychology from
Pacific Lutheran
University. Prior to joining The McMann Eye Institute, Jason
spent 7 years with Bank of America as a Senior Investment
Advisor and Equities / Bond Trader working exclusively with
high-net-worth clients in that firm's wealth management
division. o:p>
He is a member of the
American Academy of Ophthalmic
Executives (AAOE) and the
American Society of Ophthalmic
Administrators (ASOA), and is currently pursuing
a Master’s degree in Business Administration from
City University of Seattle.
Jason enjoys spending time with family as well as
travel, golf, reading, basketball, swimming and cycling.
His wife Ellen
is Filipina with local roots who attended the
University of Hawai’i.
They are happy to be back in Hawai’i near her family and
look forward to raising their two sons here in the islands.

Leona was born and
raised in Hawai’i
where she attended
Nanakuli
High School.
She started out in the eye field in San Diego in 1993.
Since then she has returned to Hawai’i and continued to further her skills by becoming
certified by the
American
Academy of Professional
Coders and the National Contact Lens Examiners.
Leona has vast experience with insurance policies and
medical billing.
Leona has been with The McMann Eye Institute since November
2007.
Janet Patlong-Bonilla

Janet is the latest
addition to the McMann Eye Institute family. Janet was born
and raised in Itogon, Benguet, Philippines. She attended St.
Louis University in Baguio City where she earned her
Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management. As a
former (English as a Second Language) ESL Instructor her
patience and enthusiasm enables her to related well to
people of all backgrounds. She is currently studying
Ophthalmic Medical Assisting and planning to pursue further
study as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician. Janet speaks on
KPHI 1130 AM, a Filipino radio station in Hawaii every
Wednesday between 9:30-10:00 am regarding eye care related
topics and services offered at the McMann Eye Institute. She
also actively sings for her adopted church in Hawaii, the
Brethren of Christ International.
Rosanna
Balais
Ophthalmic Medical Assistant &
Surgery Scheduling

Rosanna was born and raised in the
Philippines. She is able to speak Tagalog and
Ilocano fluently. She moved to Hawaii to be with her
family in 2001. She attended Heald College and graduated
with an associate degree in medical assisting. Rosanna
worked at an internal medicine practice as a medical
assistant for four and a half years before deciding to join
the McMann Eye Institute.

Donna was born in
the Philippines and came to Hawaii at the age of 6. She is
a graduate of James Campbell High School and obtained her
Associates Degree in Medical Office Administration at Heald
College in Honolulu. Although, Donna came to Hawaii at such
a young age, she has not forgotten her first language, as
she is bilingual in Ilocano and English. She is now
pursuing her career as an Ophthalmic Medical Technician at
The McMann Eye Institute and plans to grow within the
company.
